HIKO Nose Lift

HIKO Nose Lift — Non-Surgical Nose Thread Lift, Central Hong Kong

HIKO nose lift is a non-surgical nose thread treatment using absorbable threads to refine the shape and projection of the nose without surgery. It is a focused, targeted treatment that addresses the nasal bridge and tip through carefully placed threads.

The nose is the centre of the face. Even a small change in shape or projection changes the balance of features. HIKO nose thread lift reshapes the nose through absorbable threads — thin strands of absorbable material placed under the skin to lift the bridge, refine the tip, and create a more defined nasal profile.

The threads are absorbable material placed under the skin. They dissolve naturally over time while the collagen they stimulate provides a longer-term effect. This approach to nasal definition uses fine threads to lift the bridge, refine the tip, and create a more defined nasal profile without incisions or permanent implants.

What HIKO Nose Lift Addresses

HIKO is specifically designed for the nose. The threads, their size, and the placement technique are all developed specifically for the unique anatomy of the nose.

How HIKO Nose Lift Works

The HIKO treatment uses fine absorbable threads — the same type of material used in surgical sutures for decades. The material is well-established, biocompatible, and has a proven safety profile. The threads are very fine and specifically designed for the delicate tissue of the nose.

Two types of threads are used. Straight barbed threads are placed along the nasal bridge. The barbs grip the tissue and create an immediate lifting effect. Cog threads are used at the nasal tip. The cogs anchor into the tissue and allow the tip to be rotated or projected forward.

The threads are placed through a very fine needle or cannula. Each thread has a specific position and purpose based on the individual anatomy and desired outcome.

Once placed, the threads have two effects. The immediate effect is physical: the barbs and cogs lift and reposition the tissue. The longer-term effect is collagen stimulation: the presence of the threads triggers fibroblast activity, depositing new collagen that creates a natural scaffold. Over the following months, the threads are gradually absorbed. The collagen they stimulated remains.

Treatment Experience

A HIKO nose lift session takes fifteen to thirty minutes. Topical numbing cream is applied before the session. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than sharp pain.

The result is visible immediately — the bridge looks higher, the tip more defined. There will be some swelling and tenderness around the treated area for a few days. The immediate result softens slightly over the first week as swelling subsides. Over the following two to three months, additional improvement occurs as collagen builds.

The threads are gradually absorbed over time. The collagen effect may persist beyond this, providing a residual benefit. Results vary by individual.

See Lifting & Tightening and the Technology page for device specifications. For more pronounced laxity, Aptos Thread Lift provides mechanical suspension in combination.
