A Dialogue of Clarity: Divine Insights into Your Clinical Journey

Consultations

A first consultation at The Skin Oracle is a skin assessment. A treatment professional takes the time to understand the client’s skin, history, and goals. The skin is examined, appropriate treatments from our Injectables, Lifting, Pigmentation, or Acne categories are discussed with reasoning, and all questions are answered. There is no pressure to book or commit on the spot. The goal is to leave with a clear understanding of options, timelines, expected outcomes, and what each approach involves.

The Skin Oracle uses a consultation-first approach. Rather than browsing treatments and attempting to self-assess, the recommended starting point is to identify what is being noticed — specific concerns like pigmentation spots, skin laxity, acne, or redness — and book a consultation. The team assesses skin type, the depth and nature of the concern, and treatment history. From there, a treatment or combination of treatments is recommended matched to the findings. Many clients find the Skin Concerns section of the website helpful for understanding which treatments typically address which visible changes.

A consultation is required before any treatment at The Skin Oracle. It ensures that the treatment being considered is appropriate for current skin condition, that any changes since the last visit are accounted for, and that expectations are understood. For returning clients seeking repeat treatments of the same type, the consultation may be shorter, but an assessment is still necessary to confirm suitability.

Central is accessible by multiple transport options. The nearest parking is at the Car Park Building at 9 Jubilee Street (approximately 3 minutes from the centre) and The Landmark car park at 15 Queen’s Road Central (approximately 5 minutes). The area also has several public car park buildings within a 5-minute walk. For the most convenient access, Central MTR Station Exit B is a 3-minute walk from the entrance.

The Skin Oracle accepts major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), cash, and bank transfer. Payment is discussed during the consultation, and the team confirms the available options based on the recommended treatment approach.

Treatments

The number of sessions depends entirely on the treatment itself and the individual concern. Some treatments produce noticeable results after a single session (XEOMIN for expression lines, for example). Others — like Profhilo, Sculptra, Radiesse, or Julaine — typically require a course of 2-3 sessions for optimal results. Fraxel CO2 for deep scarring may require 1-3 sessions depending on severity. A realistic estimate is provided during consultation, including the expected interval between sessions.

Results duration varies by treatment. XEOMIN results typically last 3-4 months. Profhilo effects last 6-12 months from the initial two-session course. Sculptra collagen stimulation can last up to two years. Fraxel CO2 and PicoSure Pro results are long-lasting once the target concern is addressed, though maintenance sessions may be recommended to preserve results. A consultation includes a clear timeline of what to expect.

Downtime varies by treatment:

  • XEOMIN and Profhilo: Minimal — some redness and small marks at injection points that resolve within hours.
  • PicoSure Pro and Stellar M22: Minimal — some redness and warmth for a few hours to a day.
  • Ultherapy Prime: No downtime — some tenderness and slight swelling for 24-48 hours.
  • Aptos Thread Lift: 3-7 days of mild swelling and some activity restrictions.
  • AGNES RF: 24-48 hours of redness and mild swelling.
  • Fraxel CO2: 5-10 days of visible recovery — the most downtime-intensive treatment in the centre’s stack.

The team provides expected recovery information for the specific treatment during consultation so there are no surprises.

Pain tolerance is personal, but most clients find the treatments manageable. XEOMIN and Profhilo involve very fine needles and are described as mild and brief. PicoSure Pro and Stellar M22 feel like a light snapping sensation. Fraxel CO2 is the most intense sensation and requires topical anaesthetic. Comfort measures are discussed during consultation.

Many treatments can be combined. Some work well together because they address different layers or mechanisms — for example, combining Profhilo (skin quality) with Ultherapy Prime (structural lift), or XEOMIN (expression lines) with PicoSure Pro (pigmentation). Other combinations are sequenced rather than performed simultaneously — for example, controlling active acne with AGNES RF before addressing scars with Fraxel CO2. The team advises on what makes sense for the specific situation and how to space sessions appropriately.
